StarCircuit puts real electronics inside bricks kids already know how to snap together. No breadboard, no thin wires, no guessing. Snap the parts in, watch the current light up the path, then write the code that drives it.
What it is
Every part sits inside a sturdy brick with conductive pins underneath. Kids build the circuit the same way they build anything else, and the parts carry the current themselves.
No loose components on thin legs. Every part is a brick, and every wire is a thick cable with a pin on each end.
In the StarCircuit app the current lights up the real parts as it travels, so a child sees the path instead of being told about it.
Add a microcontroller and the same build runs a program. Every block shows the same instruction in Python, C++ and Java, side by side.
Designed by a Silicon Valley robotics teacher with over a decade of classroom hours, and tested on real students before it was ever a product.
Watch
The current starts in the battery, grows along every pin, bar and cable, and lights each part as it reaches it.
Kits
The StarCircuit kit is the starting point. Add the microcontroller pack on top of it when they are ready to write code.
StarCircuit
The circuit kit. Everything needed to build real working circuits from the first day.
StarCodeCircuit add on
Add on only. The StarCircuit kit is not included, you need both.
The microcontroller and the attachment that connects it to the plate, so the circuits they build can run a program.

The plate, the parts and how they go together.
The app that goes with it
StarCode is our coding app. Every block shows the same instruction in Python, C++ and Java at the same time, so a child is reading real code from the first lesson. It drives the robots, and it drives a StarCircuit build.
Leave your email and you will hear the day the Kickstarter goes live and the day kits start shipping. Nothing else.
